New Car Line Procedures: Important Information for Parents and Guardians
Elkmont Elementary is excited to announce the implementation of our new car line system for student drop-off and pick-up. To ensure a smooth transition and prioritize student safety, we ask all parents and guardians to review the following information carefully.
Car Line Map and Video
We have prepared a detailed map and an instructional video to help you navigate the new car line system. Please take a few minutes to review these resources to familiarize yourself with the updated procedures. The map and video can be accessed on our school's website or on the FaceBook page.
Morning Car Line: Begins at 7:10 a.m. Please do not arrive earlier, as this can cause unnecessary congestion and delays.
Afternoon Car Line: Will not begin before 2:30 p.m. We kindly ask that you do not arrive earlier than this time to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and reduce waiting times.
First Few Days: Expect Delays
As with any new system, there may be delays during the first few days as everyone adjusts to the new procedures. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this period.
Adherence to Procedures
To maintain a safe and efficient car line process, it is vital that all parents and guardians adhere to the established procedures. This includes following the designated routes, using the appropriate entrances and exits, and being mindful of staff directions. Your cooperation is essential for the safety of all students.
